Welcome to "Maghull Rambling Club"
- walking to the peak of health and enjoyment!!
Maghull Rambling Club,
formed in 1976, is a friendly, informal organisation which aims to provide country
walks for people who either wish to start a new pastime, or who are
already experienced in hill and mountain walking.
As a walking club based near Liverpool we
visit the hills and mountains throughout the North of England, including
the Lake District and Yorkshire and arrange local walks.
Walks take place at least once a fortnight alternating between car trips and coach trips. Also various weekends
away are arranged throughout the year.
Social activities - We
meet at 7.30 pm on the first THURSDAY of each month at the Maghull branch
of the British Legion. Non-members interested in walking are welcome.
Use the menu (top left) to see subsequent pages and see what we have
to offer.
We would like to encourage
more people (irrespective of age or experience) from Maghull and the surrounding area, to join our
walking groups/become a member. We suggest that if you are interested you come with us on a couple of walks/outings before
deciding to join the
club.
For an overview see the section "your
questions answered"
We also have a photo gallery" where
members can add and view photos
online. (Click on the link and register now. Then login and and upload your
own walking photos and review other people's pics!!)
